Digital Versatile Doom: Live From the Orpheum Theatre, released on April 29th 2008, is HIM’s first commercially released live album and live DVD. The DVD features the live performance, as well as an extended interview with frontman Ville Valo, where he speaks about rehab, philosophy, religion and many other subjects. Also featured on the DVD are the winners of HIM’s biggest fan competition. There are also many fan pictures taken with the band members. A special edition was available for pre-order on February 1, 2008, which came with a limited edition 6″ X 4″ hand-numbered flipbook limited to 3500 copies in North America and 500 in the UK.
